Can I keep track of my items throughout the entire process?

Most definitely. The items you ship our way will come with tracking information. Once your items are on-site, we will provide updates each time we advance your items to the next stage in the service process. (If you opt in)When we ship the items back your way, we will provide you with the new tracking number so you can keep an eye on your valuables.

Payment

What if it turns out additional repairs and/or services are necessary?

When your items arrive on-site our Cobblers will assess them. In case additional repairs and/or services are recommended or needed we will call you first to discuss in detail. When additional charges are agreed upon you will receive a link to make that extra payment.If you decide you do not want to add these recommended services, we can ship the items back to you at no costs to you.

When will I be charged for the repairs and or services?

After selecting the repairs and/or services you require on our website, you can immediately check-out. You can also give us a call so we can recommend the repairs or services you need. We can then send you a link and all you have to do is fill out your information.

Shipping

How to ship your items to our Repair Center?

Shipping your items to our Repair Center is easy!

1. Pack your item(s) for shipment. We recommend wrapping the item(s) in bubble wrap or tissue paper so that the package contents do not move around inside the shipping carton.

2. Affix the pre-paid shipping label to the shipping carton.

3. Bring your package to the carrier listed on the shipping label. To ensure proper delivery of your shipment, we recommend that you do not place your package in a carrier drop box. Obtain a receipt from the carrier for proof of drop-off.

You may also choose to ship your package to us using a shipping carrier of your choice, and you may want to consider insuring your package in case of damage or loss during shipment. If you use a shipper of your choice, include a printout of your order confirmation inside the shipping carton.

For orders totaling under $100 there is a $7.50 fee.

Return & refund

What if the Cobblers cannot make the requested repairs and/or complete the selected services?

Chances are extremely small this will happen. We have the best Cobblers in the world and can fix virtually everything. In the extremely rare instances we cannot  assist you, we will contact you, ship the items back and provide a full refund.

Who does all the “cobbling” and cleaning?

We, The Cobblers, do! Don't worry, we’re not sending your shoes anywhere shady!

 

Our hand-picked family of “cobblers” wields a combined legacy’s worth of cobbling expertise. Both in traditional, classic stylings (with a modern mind set), and worldly sneaker sensibilities; The Cobblers repairs, restores, and customizes all walks of footwear by its secretly held traditions and effectively updated practices.

 

You’ll be hard pressed to request something that is out of our scope; our Master Cobblers and Sneaker Specialists come in a number of disciplines, and have seen it all. Show us the shoe, and we’ll show you the way.

 

All work is performed by The Cobblers in the continental U.S.

How long will it take to get my order?

Once your items arrive at our repair facility, turnaround time is between 15 days to 30 business days depending on the service we need to perform. Shipping typically accounts for about 2-3 days each way, although times can vary.

 

Wondering or worried? Just check the status of your order. We’ll reach out when we receive your items, and we’ll contact you again with a tracking number once your restoration has been completed.

What exactly is a “cobbler” anyway?

Very simply put, a “cobbler” is a person who expertly mends or makes shoes, and quite often, various other leather goods.

 

The Cobblers (that’s us) takes the ancient craft to another level — repairing, restoring and customizing all variety of contemporary footwear. This includes those prized and collectable designer sneakers that you want to keep looking “out-of-the-box” fresh, or those trillion dollar runway-ready “lifestyle” shoes that look like they’re from the future but fall into your everyday footwear category. We get it. They’re important to you.

 

We’ll handle your trophy pair(s) with care, as well your entire everyday rotation of footwear and handbags. And resurrect that old, retired pair of what have you that just needs a little dusting off and some fresh air. We’re proud to be based in Magic City, Miami. That’s where you can visit our showroom headquarters and processing facility. We’re soon opening concept stores at Bal Harbour Shops and Aventura Mall.
